SLG had various hotel chain sub-brands such as Bay Hotels, Coast & Country Hotels, and the more exquisite Country Living Hotels.
As a graphic designer for Shearings Holidays I worked across all three brands; producing emails that would be sent out on a weekly basis to the customer database.
They all had their own brand guidelines, colour-ways and typefaces. Imagery used would reflect the various hotel destinations and also relate to the different target audiences.
Country Living Hotels were situated in the historic cities of Bath and Harrogate.
These hotels were the most elaborate hotels in the hotel portfolio; oozing charm and sophistication in their interiors and style. Design for the marketing of these hotels was always done with care and consideration to the Country Living ethos.
Coast & Country Hotels were a hotel brand that offered a level of sophistication yet affordable accommodation.

Bay Hotels had the largest portfolio of properties and showcased budget accommodation. The colour palette reflects the colours used in the brand logo. Artwork designed for this brand would be less formal and more lighthearted.
